1929 Custom “Silver Anniversary” Buick Sedan

This Lloyd Turner build 1929 “Silver Anniversary” Custom Buick Sedan was completed in the mid 1990’s and is a stunning example of Mr. Turners iconic builds combining a mix of originality with numerous custom modifications. This Sedan still retains most of the styling features that were specially designed by General Motors in 1929, celebrating the Silver Anniversary of Buick including its abundance of original lights and lenses, dual front mount horns, dual side mounts, rear passenger foot rest, robe rail, bud vases, rear window passenger shades, original door handles, side cowl vents, driver foot rest and much more.

Powered by a WF code Buick 455 ci V8 equipped with an Offenhauser intake, dual Holley carburetors, dual exhaust, and hard to find Kenne Bell Buick valve covers, it is mated to a three speed Hydramatic transmission and a GM 8 inch 10 bolt rear end. This expertly built Buick now features all new wiring, power steering, front power disc and rear drum brakes, tilt wheel, and custom finished McLean wire wheels wrapped in black wall radials. Complementing its plush interior, a color coordinated trunk comes with the car mounted on the folding rear trunk rack to complete the period look of this beautifully restored car.  This car truly drives as good as it looks!
